- Visits Bodegas (sherry) Wine cities such as Jerez de la Frontera , Sanlúcar de Barrameda en El Puerto de Santa María are known for their world famous wine-sherry-Jerez. Different sherry types run the gamut from dry to extra-sweet. Finos are light, dry where Olorosos are darker colored from gold to deep brown, nutty, rich and can range from dry, medium-dry to sweet. You can find out more about sherry in the many bodegas. Domecq,Garvey en González Byass in Jerez , Osborne (El Puerto) and Pedro Romero (Sanlúcar) are worthwhile a visit.
- Ruta del Toro (bulls) An interesting traile that traverses the area where fighting bulls are raised. Following the route of the bull, you can observe these impressive animals in their natural habitat in combination with the scenic beauty of the countryside and the points of historical and cultural interest along the way. The route runs between Jerez and Tarifa and passes through many beautiful villages such Medina Sidonia, José del Valle , Paterna de Rivera....
- Circuit van Jerez Race circuit. A yearly topevent the "Grand Prix Motor" GP races. The circuit is also frequently used for "Formule One" Testing Teams. More info here
- "Vía Verde" A 36 kilometers long walking and bycicle trail through impressive nature. Beautiful views on the rolling hills which hide little villages, olivegroves and fields. The route boasts 30 tunnels, 4 viaducts and 5 railwaystations which makes it an exceptional experience. In little villages such as Olvera, Coripe and Puerto Serrano bycicles are available for rent and you can leave your car behind on one of the parking lots. More info here
- Walkingtrails Arcos de la Frontera as well as Natural Parks like Sierra de Grazalema and Los Alcornocales nearby offer a great diversity of walkingtrails.
- Beach The Costa de la Luz at the Atlantic Coast gives you a warm welcome in the vivid fishingvillages. Enjoy traditional summerfeasts and housemade tapas in a cosy pub. The breathtaking, long white beaches of Sanlucar and Tarifa where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediteranean are an absolute top.
